What we are doing to keep you safe
We are keeping this office as safe as can be by routinely sanitizing all skin contact areas after every patient encounter with CaviCide™, an EPA-registered, hospital grade disinfectant. All skin contact areas are wiped down with CaviCide after every patient encounter. Our common area surfaces such as chairs, counter tops, walls and pens are also regularly wiped with CaviCide. Reception seating is spaced apart in the unlikely event there are more than a few people in the office. We are turning away anyone with any signs or symptoms of illness. Patients who enter the office are immediately directed to use hand sanitizer provided at the front desk or to wash hands.
So long as we have gloves and masks, our office will stay open and will take patients who don’t want to enter a higher-risk medical facility.
Dr. Gillman is available for telemedicine consultations. He can provide limited examinations via phone or video link, and give basic medical advice, exercises and home care instruction.

Welcome To Our Practice
With a Doctor of Chiropractic degree and a Chiropractic Sports Medicine degree, we are expert in two arenas: Spine and Sport Medicine.
FOR PHYSICIANS AND PATIENTS: WHAT TO EXPECT
We diagnose and treat musculoskeletal conditions of the spine and extremities. If it involves joints, muscles, or tendons, it’s our domain. Neck and lower back pain, headaches, sciatica, disc problems, and nerve entrapment, as well as sports related conditions such as ankle sprains, achilles tendinitis, shoulder impingement and knee pain are some examples of what we address on a daily basis. Office records are shared with PCPs and referring doctors to keep them informed about their patient’s condition and care.
SPINE
As a spine care specialist, Dr. Gillman provides a careful medical history and thorough examination of the spine. Based on training and experience, and guided by current clinical literature, we effectively address spine problems, and know when it is appropriate (or not) to order X-rays or MRI, or to refer to other specialists such as a surgeon or physiatrist. We treat spine conditions with a combination of procedures including highly skilled joint manipulation and both hands-on and instrument-assisted soft tissue therapy. We also will provide exercises and employ physiotherapy modalities (e.g. ultrasound or laser therapy) when appropriate. See our products/services tab to learn more.
SPORT
Dr. Gillman is a Diplomate of the American Chiropractic Board of Sports Physicians (DACBSP®). This post graduate Chiropractic Sports Medicine degree is the industry’s benchmark. It comprises 300 course hours including radiology, orthopedics, neurology, emergency procedures, biomechanics, exercise training, nutrition, athletic taping, custom foot orthotics prescription, and a minimum of 100 field hours with sports teams and other sports venues. It also requires two written board exams, a challenging practical exam, and publishing a clinical journal article. The DACBSP® education assures athletes, coaches, and trainers that the doctor has met a high level of competency in diagnosis and treatment of sports injuries. In other words, if you are an athlete, you’re in the right place. Dr. Gillman has examined and treated countless athletes, at Olympic-level venues as well as here at home, from Ironman Triathletes, elite gymnasts, competitive CrossFitters to working weekday warriors.
